Data Collection for Mitigation Potential Analysis and Scenario Development in Uganda’s Transport Sector

The Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC) agreed to develop Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. To systematically assess GHG emissions from the Uganda transport sector, MEIR was contracted by GIZ to undertake a detailed sectoral mitigation potential analysis through data collection and stakeholder consultations on future trends.
