TOTAL E&P UGANDA B.V. is developing the Tilenga Upstream project under Production Sharing Agreements signed with the Government of Uganda. The project is located in Buliisa district near Lake Albert which is situated on the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The project is divided into the upstream facilities and Enabling Infrastructures which are intended to enable the performance of construction works of the Upstream facilities.

Pearl Engineering Company Ltd which was contracted to undertake construction of the Tangi Camp Extension of the Construction Support Base, sub-contracted MEIR to undertake detailed design and of the Construction Support Base. The scope of the detailed design included earthworks modelling, drainage and access road and supervision on the construction works.
